Umbrella organization made up of homeless and formerly homeless people, service providers and advocates. Advocates for effective and humane services, employment, and housing for homeless and low-income people. COH work groups meet regularly to develop programs and policies in the areas of scivil rights, welfare and economic development. COH projects include Street Sheet,, Family Rights and Dignity, Civil Rights legal Division, Right 2 A Roof, and Outreach. COH does outreach to homeless people and has a speaker's bureau that makes presentations to groups concerned about homelessness. Produces Street Sheet, a newsletter addressing many issues facing homeless people.

An English/Spanish advocacy and referral agency for homeless and immigrant people. Services are free, and are provided on both a walk-in and referral basis. Services include translation/interpretation, orientation to medical, social services and housing resources, direct service referrals and follow-up, advocacy, organizing, support groups, volunteer involvement and escorting to appointments. Spanish. Wheelchair accessible.
